Hi Robin,
I read K. Lamb’s blog the other day and also the long essay in the Atlantic….both make very strong points about the book and film that I suspect will largely go unread, unheard and unconsidered or thought of in our non-thinking culture. Like those authors, I haven’t read the book and won’t see the movie. I don’t have the time in my life to waste on its content. For those who indulge, I would hope they’d apply a close examination of its depiction of abuse, love, sex and the devaluation of humanity .. and come away determined to rethink their own patterns in relationships.
