Silk and Strength

This review is from: Silk for the Feed Dogs (Paperback)
While silk implies a soothing image of luxury and ease, Jackie Mallon’s Silk For The Feed Dogs reminds this reader more of raw silk–with its bumpy texture, threads of loopy humor and incredible strength that lasts. Mallon’s protagonist Kat draws us through the sewing machine’s feed dogs and produces an amusing story of the fashion world. A must read.
